簡介

Kamolpan Chotvichai 1986年生於曼谷，於曼谷Silpakorn大學取得美術碩士學位，並先後曾獲頒無數獎項和獎學金。

 

Chotvichai挑戰一般紙張和畫布的局限性，透過簡單的工具，細心地切割出自己身體的圖像。根據佛教教義的理解，Chotvichai抹去自己的身份，面孔以至身體形態，達至無我的境界。

 

Kamolpan Chotvichai 曾參與多個展覽，並先後曾獲頒無數獎項和獎學金，包括2012年曼谷第58屆全國美展金獎(版畫)。

 

她最近期的個展為2013年於曼谷Ardel現代藝術畫廊舉辦的EMPTINESS展覽。其他聯展包括2013年泰國Numthong畫廊Anthropos Bangkok；2013年新加坡聖德拉姆泰戈爾畫廊Anthropos: Navigating Human Depth in Thai and Singapore Contemporary Art；2013年洛杉磯第四屆當代青年藝術家展會；及2012年韓國光州市立美術館Kum Namro Wing, Metro 畫廊的國際婦女藝術展Lights of Women。

 

Chotvichai較早前獲邀參加東京多摩美術大學美術館ON PAPERS—Paper & Nature藝術展的紙藝術研討會。
