In celebration of Gillman Barracks’ Art After Dark event, the annual late-night open house held during Singapore Art Week, Sundaram Tagore Singapore will be open late and serving light refreshments for a closing party for the exhibition Golnaz Fathi: Contemplations, which features a selection of abstract paintings and drawings rooted in the rich traditions of Persian calligraphy.

 

On the same evening, STG artist Zheng Lu will unveil a large-scale sculpture at Gillman Barracks as part of the outdoor public art project Lock Route. The bespoke sculpture is part of the artist’s Shiosai series and will be on view until June 30. The Lock Route project, which will include a number of sculptures, was commissioned by the Gillman Barracks Programme Office and curated by Khairuddin Hori.
