This fifty two-page full color catalog features iconic works spanning the forty year career of renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz.
Published to coincide with Leibovitz’s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, the images revolve around a central theme of power in public and private spheres. Her celebrated subjects assume gestures and poses that expose a very private side of their personalities. Included in this catalog are portraits of Andy Warhol, Cindy Sherman, Steve Martin, Nicole Kidman, Philip Glass, and Angelina Jolie, among other notable figures.
An essay by Dr. Marius Kwint, a senior lecturer in visual culture at the University of Portsmouth and former lecturer at the University of Oxford, accompanies the catalog.
The exhibition is on view at Sundaram Tagore Gallery through June 17, 2012.
