Please join us at our Madison Avenue gallery at 83rd Street for the annual Madison Avenue Gallery Walk. We’ll be previewing work by the critically acclaimed Korean artist Chung Kwang Young whose intricate, abstract compositions are created from thousands of mulberry-paper–wrapped packets.
We’re offering two informal talks about this innovative artist’s work and how it fits into the larger context of the burgeoning Asian contemporary art market. The first talk is at noon followed by another at 5 pm accompanied by refreshments.
This is a great opportunity to preview Chun’s work before Aggregation, his first solo exhibition in New York in four years, opens at our Chelsea gallery May 3.
This event has been organized with ARTnews and the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District.
