San Francisco - Lecture by Sundaram Tagore

At the invitation of the fair organizers, Sundaram Tagore will present the lecture The Promise of Modernism: Indian Art from 1900 to the Present aimed at those interested in collecting. He will trace the development of modernism on the Subcontinent, detailing the historical and aesthetic currents that shaped--and continue to inform--Indian art.

The lecture The Promise of Modernism: Indian Art 1900 to the Present by Sundaram Tagore is part of the West Coast Art Collector's Conference. The three-day seminar series is designed to offer collectors insight and advice.

The lecture will be held in the Theater, located on the show floor, on Sunday, May 23, from 1 - 2 pm.

Admission to the lecture is free to show attendees; seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
