Join gallery artist Miya Ando for a discussion on climate change in relation to her new installation Flower Atlas, in the Winter Garden at Brookfield Place.
The installation, commissioned by Arts Brookfield, comes to life through 72 cloth banners suspended in the Winter Garden. With this project, Ando reimagines the year 2023 not in days, but in flowers depicting the 72 seasons of the nature-based ancient Japanese system of time-telling.
Ando will be in dialogue with artist Ami Vitale; the discussion will be moderated by Kendal Henry.
