The solo show Susan Weil: About Time, comprising more than fifty works by gallery artist Susan Weil, spanning 1949 to the present, is on view at the Shirley Fiterman Art Center at the Borough of Manhattan Community College of the City University of New York. It is the first institutional solo presentation of Weil’s work in New York City.
Time, both literally and metaphorically, is a central theme that threads its way through Weil’s more than seventy-year practice. The exhibition moves back and forth between paper and canvas, traditional materials and experimental techniques, figuration and abstraction, exploring the ever-shifting elements of time, movement, and language. On view June 5 – August 9, 2025.
