Published to coincide with Anthropos, Navigating Human Depth in Thai and Singapore Contemporary Art, a group exhibition held at Sundaram Tagore Singapore in September, 2013, this 40-page full color catalogue features photography, painting, graffiti and video by eleven emerging and established Thai and Singapore artists, brought together for the first time in Singapore. Anthropos (a Greek word for human), investigates how boundaries between the physical and psychological spheres of the human body converge. The show also explores the cultural and artistic exchange between Thailand and Singapore.
Essays by both the exhibition’s curator, Loredana Pazzini-Paracciani, an independent curator and part-time lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts and Bangkok-based writer, lecturer, and curator, Brian Curtin, are included.
