“When you truly value something, you give it a name,” says Miya Ando, who will talk about the work in Rain Drawings, her solo exhibition that explores some of the 2,000 Japanese words for rain. She will discuss how language and art hone our attention and help us cultivate deep appreciation for the world around us.
This event is hosted and organized by Tricycle: The Buddhist Review in partnership with Union-Theological Seminary.
