Please join us for this short film about Singaporean abstractionist Anthony Poon. This event has been organized in conjunction with Transformation and Color: Anthony Poon, Pioneer of Singapore Abstraction, the first exhibition of the artist’s work since his retrospective at the National Gallery Singapore in 2009. The exhibition is on view at Sundaram Tagore Singapore through July 10.
Produced in 2005 by Art Central, Mediacorp TV, this documentary shows the creation of the monumental sculpture Evolution and features an interview with the artist discussing the development of his art practice.
