Dr. Marius Kwint, a Reader (Associate Professor) in Visual Culture at the University of Portsmouth and a curator, will lead an informal discussion on Modernism Beyond the Boundaries of Western Art. He will focus on acclaimed Indian-born artist Sohan Qadri (1932–2011) known for his vibrant minimalist works.

Dr. Kwint has held research fellowships at Harvard University, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal College of Art. He has also served as Lecturer in History of Art at the University of Oxford and as a Fellow of Catherine’s College.
