Please join us as we welcome Tayeba Begum Lipi, one of Bangladesh’s most talked about artists, to the gallery. She will show her signature razor-blade and safety-pin installations, most of which she created especially for this exhibition. Lipi is known for tackling feminist issues and articulating themes of female marginality.
On March 5, a two-person exhibition featuring the artist and her husband, Mahbubur Rahman, will open at Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University. It runs through August 7.
