Set in modern-day Singapore, Riot Green tells the story of a talented young artist who captures the attention of the art world, setting forces beyond her control into motion. Part drama, part thriller, the novel’s narrative drifts between worlds, drawing on Chinese traditions and beliefs and the intersection of family and fame.

Woon Tai Ho is the founder of Channel NewsAsia. During his more than two decades in media he wrote, produced and directed numerous award-winning current affairs programs and documentaries. Riot Green is his second book. His first, To Paint a Smile, a nonfiction account of the life and work of artist Tan Swie Hian, was published in 2008.
