Iranian artist Golnaz Fathi will give a brief talk on the history of Islamic calligraphy from Kufic until today, along with its artistic use in contemporary art. Fathi will also talk about her artistic practice which relies on traditional calligraphy. This presentation is moderated by Daniela Cecutti.
