Please join us for the opening of Iranian painter Golnaz Fathi's debut solo exhibition in Hong Kong. The artist, who divides her time between Tehran and Paris, presents new and recent paintings on canvas.

Drawing on her extensive training as a classical calligrapher, Fathi uses fine pen on canvas, layering the surface with thousands of minute marks that echo the curvilinear forms of calligraphy. She uses texts and letters as formal elements, transforming a revered tradition into a personal artistic language.
