Please join Sundaram Tagore in welcoming Sebastião Salgado, one of the world’s most respected photographers, to the Chelsea gallery. We are pleased to be showing forty iconic black-and-white images spanning thirty years of the artist’s distinguished career.

Photographs from five series will be on view, including Workers (1993), a visual archaeology of the Industrial Age that reveals the extraordinary fortitude of the men and women tasked with producing goods for the developed world; Migrations (2000), which depicts movement driven by hunger, disaster and climate change; and Genesis, his most recent series, comprising hauntingly beautiful images of unspoiled nature and ancient civilizations.
